“In every community, there is work to be done. In every nation, there are wounds to heal. In every heart, there is the power to do it.”

How to Get Started

Shared Intention Weekends

Over a specific weekend, our community joins in practising a shared intention. Everyone gets on with whatever they happen to be doing that weekend, whilst directing their attention as much as possible to the intention.

Next Intention: Being Kind to Ourselves .. Coming soon

Here’s how it works:

  • It is totally free to take part, though donations to support this work are invited
  • Easy no obligation sign-up (see box below)
  • You will receive a Project Orientation Pack with more information
  • You’ll be sent gentle prompts by email each day from the Monday, orienting you positively towards the weekend. These are quick reminders, short reflective tasks and 5 minute audio and video options
  • Practice the intention from the Friday evening to the Sunday evening. Hold the intention lightly, look out for the Inner Critic and keep asking yourself: if I was being kind to myself right now, what would I be doing? You can’t get it wrong. It’s an experiment.
  • Join Kate live online on the Sunday evening for an informal get together to see how we all got on!

Anyone can join in so please do tell any friends who may like to get involved. There is no expectation to report back or share anything unless you wish to do so.

“Rising up in Love: Exploring Spiritual Rebellion”
In this informal semi-structured session, you are invited to explore your own Spiritual Rebellion.  Kate begins by reflecting on her own, exploring the idea of inner work, alone and with others, as spiritual activism. There will be time for personal reflection so bring a journal!  There are no interactive exercises, though sharing is welcome, so you are free to focus on your own experience. Find out what’s moving in you, what’s stuck and where you go from here.

Please contact Kate directly with any enquiries.

Flashmob Meditations

It Works Like This:

  • Find a Flashmob near you or contact Kate about organising one
  • Arrive at the location and get set up ready to start
  • Put on your Spiritual Rebellion badge if you have one!
  • Set a timer for 15 minutes
  • At the start time, either do your own heart meditation, listen to a guided meditation or simply sit quietly
  • Afterwards, you may wish to stay seated for a while. Or you can just disappear into the crowd. Or you might like to chat with fellow meditators.
  • If the weather is bad or if you do not wish to be in the main location, you could go to a local cafe and sit quietly with a drink and simply sense into your heart. Or do it at home. It all counts.

Soul Gatherings

Soul Gatherings

Kate invites you to join her and fellow travellers for one day and weekend retreats at lovely venues across the UK. These gatherings include meditation, a short themed workshop with Kate and sometimes other teachers, gentle breath and body work, informal ‘fireside conversations’, music, dancing and shared meals. Topics such as Feeling Safe, Authentic Relating and Permission to Shine. There is an emphasis on mindful awareness, positive self-care, shared learning and the warmth of community.

Come and join us.

“It isn’t enough to talk about peace. One must believe in it. And it isn’t enough to believe in it. One must work at it.”
Eleanor Roosevelt
